THE MINNESOTA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION VOTES UNANIMOUSLY IN FAVOR OF LINE 3 PROJECT, AGAIN
The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission voted again on March 26, 2019 – unanimously – in favor of the Line 3 oil pipeline in northern Minnesota.
In late June, 2018 the Public Utilities Commission unanimously voted in favor of granting the project a certificate of need. Line 3 will replace an existing 50-year-old Line 3 and carry 760,000 barrels of oil per day from Alberta to the Enbridge terminal in Superior.
